Condolence: One of the blessings of my life was to meet Lynda. Close friends in high school we managed somehow, across time and distance, to keep in touch. Each time, no matter how long had passed, we reconnected immediately. Lynda had that gift: she held people close; she had real emotional warmth; she was incredibly kind; and she really cared. She was also a person of the highest integrity. These past few weeks I felt a profound need to reconnect and just discovered the news last night. I am devastated. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. She was really special. I only wish I could have told her this one last time.

Condolence: Lynda and I attended the same high school, but I really got to know her more in the years since. I always looked forward to spending time with Lynda to hear about her travels, charitable interests and views on life. She was a caring friend who also had me laughing near tears most visits. I still cannot take in the heart breaking news. My thoughts and prayers are with family and friends.

Condolence: Words are hard to find to express the loss of our dearly loved niece Lynda. We struggle to
find meaningful ways to express our love to the family, her mom and dad, sister and broth-in-law and brother and nephew. You all are in our thoughts and prayers and we trust God will give you peace through the tragic loss of Lynda, she will be truly missed.

Condolence: Hello loved ones of Lynda. We met Lynda a few times through mutual friends, Cathy and Greg Kimoff. What really stands out for us is Greg and Cathy's wedding in 2000. My husband and I were seated at a table with Lynda -- and none of us there knew each other at the time. Happily, it took us all about 5 minutes max. to realize that WE had the good fortune to be on the FUN table! (Thank you Cathy!) Lucky us! What a laugh she was! It was a truly great night, which included posing for photos while balancing spoons on the ends of our noses! Yes, we are all class!

Our friends Cathy and Greg are so sad and we feel for them -- and for Lynda's family and friends. It doesn't seem fair that such a lovely, young person should be gone so soon.

Our sincere condolences to all who knew Lynda and loved her.

Condolence: I met Lynda when I started working in a little law firm in Toronto almost 30 years ago. She was the first one I worked with in my adult life as she had to train me to take over her position. She worked with us for many years then left for other opportunities before realizing she had to come home. We were all quite excited when it was announced she was coming back. Lynda was funny, kind & kooky in her own little way and always smiling. She had always had a way to make anything negative into a positive….even if you didn’t agree she would talk you into it.
I am saddened and shocked by her passing and find it hard to walk by her desk knowing we won’t see her there anymore. She will be missed so much by so many here at work and by everyone who knew her.

My thoughts go out to her parents and the rest of her family. It must be so hard but take comfort in knowing you raised a wonderful woman. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Condolence: My deepest heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of Lynda. I'm shocked and saddened to learn of Lynda's passing. We met in the most unusual way - she bought my old snowshoes through Kijiji and it turned out we had everything in common. We clicked from the moment we met! We mountain biked together in the summer and snowshoed together in the winter. And had good laughs over lunches downtown from time to time. I will forever remember her sweet disposition and great smile.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of knowing Lynda through Gowlings. Although we did not work together in the same department, we often made time to chat about mountain biking and various other activities. Lynda was a very positive person who wore the most beautiful smile. She will be remembered fondly. My sincere sadness and condolences.
