RUTA, Anne Theresa (nee Pacione) May 27th, 1923 – July 28th, 2015 Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 92. She was the adored wife of the late Joseph Ruta (1991) and loving mother to Anthony (Pauline), Joseph, David (Cathy), Angela (Dan), and Michael. Proud grandmother to Michael Ruta, Joseph Ruta (Heather), Elizabeth Harrington (Dan), Matthew McPhee, Devon Rose McPhee and Daniel McPhee Jr. She was delighted to be a great grandmother to Benjamin & Joshua Ruta and Ophelia Rose Harrington. Anne was predeceased by many brothers and sisters and is survived by her sister Angie Cantor. She loved and was loved by all who knew her, especially her large extended family and many friends and will be forever missed. We are comforted to know that she and her beloved Joe are now together forever. The family would like to thank the staff at the Bayview Retirement Residence, Belleville General Hospital and Stirling Manor for their wonderful care in her final months. The family will receive friends at the STIRLING FUNERAL CHAPEL 87 James St., Stirling (613-395-2424) on Friday from 5-8p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. James The Minor Church on Saturday, August 1st, 2015 at 11a.m. Interment at Pine Hills Cemetery (Section 8, Lot 2310), Scarborough on Tuesday, August 4th, 2015 at 11a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
