Part of the Family

It was always great to visit the Moran home. The family always made me feel so welcome. I specially enjoyed how I was allowed to hold the remote control and watch anything I wanted. I recall saying to myself how wonderful I was being treated and how welcome I felt. That remote was always right where I would sit seemingly waiting for me.

I can not recall how many times it was there or for how many visits, however there came the day when I know I was no longer a visitor, but truly family. Upon coming to the TV viewing room and looking for the remote where it was always seemingly left for me,,,it was not there. I looked around and Donna was holding it with the most loving look toward me. There were no need for words.

I just knew I was no longer a guest but truly part of the family. I will miss you Donna.
