Obituary for Alice May Scriver (Peake)

SCRIVER, Alice May (nee Peake) passed away quietly at the Peterborough Regional Health Center on Thursday, August 4th, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Albert C. Scriver. Dear mother of Richard and his wife Barbara and grandchildren Erin and Christopher; Rod and grandchildren April and Chad; and Wendy Dainard and her husband Robert and grandchildren Amanda, Asheley and Dane. Survived by her sister Margaret Bird (late Allan). Predeceased by her siblings Geraldine Rothwell (late Don), Harry and wife Anne, Bob (late Betty), Eddie (late Marie), Doris Stevens (late Lyle), and Georgina Kelleher husband Charles. Will be sadly missed by great grandchildren Cole, Carden, Alyssa, Avianna, Dash, Asia, Avalon, Evangeline, Emerald and Eliza as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the STIRLING FUNERAL CHAPEL 87 James St., Stirling (613-395-2424) on Monday, August 8th, 2016 from 11a.m. –1p.m. with a service to follow in the chapel at 1p.m. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Campbellford. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Hospital for Sick Kids would be appreciated. On-line condolences at www.rushnellfamilyservices.com
