Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Aubrey Sharp can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Aubrey Sharp

SHARP, Aubrey – peacefully at home with family by his side on Wednesday, March 8th, 2017. Aubrey Sharp of Trenton in his 84th year. Son of the late Donald and Della (Douglas) Sharp. Beloved partner of Betty McLinton. Predeceased by his wife Joan (Sloan) Sharp. Loved father of Wendy (Gary) Powley of Kingston, James (Grace) Sharp of Lakefield and Donald (Janice) Sharp of Peterborough. Survived by siblings Donna (late Harry) Bradley of Oshawa, Iona (late Herb) Grills of Edson, AB and Doug (Beverley) Sharp of Brighton. Ever remembered by grandchildren Jason, Jennifer, Ryan, Jessica, Rachael, Michael; great-grandchildren Jadyn, Ally, Carson and Finn. Also remembered by Betty's children Bob (Cindi), Bill (Heather); both of Sherwood Park, AB and Bonny (Rick) of Odessa. The family will receive friends at the RUSHNELL FUNERAL CENTRE, 60 Division Street, Trenton (613-392-2111) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, March 16th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Tom Walton officiating. Inurnment Mount Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. If desired, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or University Hospitals Kingston Foundation/Cancer Centre of SE Ontario at KGH would be appreciated by the family.
