HELMUS, Edward Folkart – entered into rest at his residence on Saturday, May 20th, 2017. Ed Helmus, of Frankford in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Christine Helmus (nee Austin) and the late Billie Cooney. Loving stepfather of Alex Smolcic (Jennifer Carter) of Trenton, and Adam Smolcic of Port Coquitlam. Proud grandfather of Kayden and Kyra. Fondly remembered by his siblings Ingrid (Bruce) Campbell, Ronald (Dedrie), Ralph (Grace), Freddie (Anna), and their families. Ed will be fondly remembered by the staff of Sears Canada for his 42 years of service. Mr. Helmus is resting at the Community Christian Reformed Church, Frankford, on Saturday, May 27th, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Reception at 12:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service following at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Michael Bootsma officiating.
