Obituary for Joyce Isabelle Sexsmith (Gibson)

SEXSMITH, Joyce Isabelle – It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of Joyce at Crown Ridge Place, Trenton on Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 at the age of 90. Daughter of the late James and Laura Gibson. Beloved wife for 67 years of the late Herbert Garth Sexsmith. Loving mother of Elaine Pond (Larry) of Thunder Bay, Greg Sexsmith (Joni) of Stonewall, MB and Tim Sexsmith (Laurel) of Trenton. Predeceased by her sister Doris and brothers Don, John “Jack”, and Reg. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Matthew, Spencer, Andrew, Laura, Joelene and Robyn; and great-grandchildren Adelle and Elora as well as many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Joyce's wishes, cremation will take place. Family and friends will gather in May 2018 for a Memorial Service at Trenton United Church, 85 Dundas Street East, Trenton to celebrate Joyce's life. Arrangements in the care of the Rushnell Funeral Centre, 60 Division Street, Trenton (613-392-2111). If desired, donations to the Trenton United Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
