STAPLEY, WILLIAM ERIC – Of Stirling

It is with great sadness the family of William “Bill” Stapley announce his passing on Monday, March 5th, 2018 at the Belleville General Hospital at the age of 67. Bill was the son of Gladys (nee Summers) and the late Forde Stapley. Beloved husband of Susan (nee Allan) and loving father of Lisa Rosa(Jason) of Belleville and Mark(Katherine) of Kingston. Dearest brother of Beverley McGee(Jim) of Belleville, Glenn(Susan) of Peterborough, Ed(Marilyn) of Carrying Place. Predeceased by his sister Audrey Almey(Roy) and his brother Gerald “Jerry”. Survived by his sister-in-law Elizabeth “Beth” of Belleville. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, his granddaughter Lilli and his many life long friends.

In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Family Graveside Service will be held at a later date at Eggelton-Clarke Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a Memorial visitation at the Stirling Funeral Chapel, 87 James Street, Stirling (613-395-2424) on Tuesday, March 13th, 2018 from 3:00 pm till 5:00 p.m. If desired, donations to the Canadian Hemophilia Society or the Dr. MacIntosh Cancer Clinic at Belleville General Hospital.
