FITCHETT, William Edward (Bill)-
Retired CNR Operator / Dispatcher, has entered into rest, surrounded by his loving family at Quinte Gardens Retirement Home on Friday, March 16th, 2018 in his 82nd year. Son of the late Carmen & Elizabeth Fitchett. Much loved husband of the late Shirley Fitchett (nee Devolin). Loving father to Mark Fitchett (Pauline) of Carleton Place and Lisa Botting (Steven) of Belleville. Proud Poppa to Brandon, Tyler, Christopher and Shane. Bill is predeceased by his sister Helen Finkle (Gilbert) and his granddaughter Alyssa. Friends are invited to visit in the chapel of the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588) on Friday, March 23rd, 2018 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held following visitation at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Bill will be laid to rest alongside his late wife Shirley at the Belleville Cemetery Niche Wall in a private service. If desired, donations to the Belleville General Hospital Oncology Department are appreciated.
