LONEY, Ernie Ray – Of Belmont Long Term Care, Belleville, On. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ernie Loney on Friday, March 23rd, 2018, in his 81st year at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Predeceased by parents Allan Loney and Annie Loney (nee Parkhurst) of Bancroft. Loving brother to Lois Hodgins (Brian) of Belleville, and William Loney (Sandra) of Ottawa. Predeceased by brothers Thomas Loney (Late Lauraine, and Al Loney (Late Eleanor) of Ottawa. Ernie will be missed by 11 nieces and nephews, as well as 18 grand nieces & nephews. Predeceased by niece Cindy Brown. Dear friend of Alice Hickmott of Belleville. Ernie was a theatre projectionist for many years throughout his life starting in Bancroft as a teen, and then in many theatres throughout London and Toronto. Friends may call at the BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 68 North Front Street., Belleville (613-968-5080) on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. with funeral services being held in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Brenda Timpson officiating. If desired, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
