The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Don Sutherland can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

To my dear friend Don. Well mister it's been eight months since you left this Earth and needless to say it's been very hard and very sad. Donald is getting through all of it one day at a time as I don't think he can face anymore. I think of your words often telling me that as long as I'm with him you won't worry about him, I live by those words. I do my best to lift him up and try to get him through his Hard Times without you and his mom. He carries both you and Greta in his heart and in his thoughts every single moment of his life. And you should be proud of the son that you raised. We visit both you and Greta quite often sometimes we're together other times on our own. As you know I show up and Ramble On to both of you. You're probably tired of listening to me. LOL. I have to talk to you somehow. I wish I could just pick up the phone and call you and hear your wise words. Pretty selfish because I look to you to pick me up and lift me up when I was feeling lost. I wish there was a 1-800 number. Because I be calling it to talk to my own mom and and you and introduce myself to Greta. Well Spring is upon us. The robins are chirping the grass is showing through and so far the river isn't flooding. With every day that passes it brings us one day closer to a year from the time that you left. One thing comes to my when I think about you not being here and that's only that I believe with all of my heart that you're with your girl Greta, your mom and dad your sister and anyone else that you've loved and lost yourself. I love you very much. I miss you very much. And I sure am glad that I got to know you. Just to let you know how much of an impression you made my son still talks about you too. And he misses you too. Love Ang. Xoxoxo.
