LAFFERTY, ELSIE ALIX CORBETTA - Peacefully entered into rest at the Belleville General Hospital, on Tuesday October 9th, 2018 at the age of 92. Elsie Lafferty of Trenton was the daughter of the late George and Vivien March and the wife of the late William George Lafferty. Cherished mother of Les (Sharon) of Kingston, Bill (Nola) of Airdrie, AB, Lorraine Kuschmierz (Bernd) of Quinte West, Carolyn Murray (Paul) of Belleville and Cavell Hatfield (Shawn) of Rednersville. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Rachel, Melissa, Jacqueline, Kathleen, Kirsten, Evan, Lauren, Alex, Adrienne and Olivia and great grandmother of Ethan, Katelyn and Ryan. Elsie is survived by her brother David March (Dolorosa) of Surrey, BC and is predeceased by her sisters Betty Gordon and Patricia Hewer and her brother Evan March. She will be fondly remembered by her husband’s family, Robert Lafferty of Belleville and Audrey Edwards of Burlington, as well as many nieces and nephews. Elsie had such a deep love for the Bible and faith in God’s Promises for the future, she devoted her life to teaching and encouraging others to do the same. In keeping with Elsie’s wishes, cremation has taken place by John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588). A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 117 Lisgar St., Brighton, ON Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., with refreshments to follow.
