The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of June Kennedy can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dear Don, Cheryl, Bob and families; I recently found a candle that June gave to me. It was from a craft fair that we attended together, and it had been hand painted to look like a birch tree. This event took place in the late 1970's early 1980's when Bill and I lived on Chapel Street in Brighton. Upon finding the candle still not burned in all these years, I immediately "Googled" online for information on Don and June and was brought to tears as the first item was June's obituary but a few months ago. My heart ached and the tears flowed at the loss of such a beautiful person who left footprints in my heart! I have since taken out the candle and am burning it in June's honour. My deepest sympathies go out to all of you at your tremendous loss. June was truly loved by all and will be missed by all whose lives she touched. I am thankful to have been one of those lives...

Condolence: I am saddened to hear about June's passing. June and I shared many long talks about our MS, and just life in general, even after I had moved away to Bowmanville. She always offered encouragement and was an inspiration to me, as I feared my MS progression. Knowing how June was able to live life fully with this disease, offered me great comfort.
