Former President of Quinte Home Builders Association
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Fred Jones at the Belleville General Hospital on Tuesday, November 6th, 2018 at the age of 72. Son of the late Jack & Viola Jones. Loving husband of 51 years to Carol (nee Colden). Proud father to Leslie Thomson-Jones (Lee) of Kingston and Paul Jones (Tina) of Prince Edward County. Much loved grandfather to Madeline & Elliott Jones and Ocean Thomson. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Barb Genereaux (Gerard), Bev Boomhower (Doug), and his brothers; Gerry Jones (Judy), Doug Jones (Mary Ann), Greg Jones (Cathy) and Donny Jones (Carol). Predeceased by his brother David Jones. Fred will also be forever remembered by his sister-in-law Meribeth Smith (John) as well as many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation arrangements have been made with JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588). Family & Friends are asked to gather for a Graveside Service that will be held at the Belleville Cemetery Niche Wall on Saturday, November 10th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada are appreciated by the family.
