It was with sadness that we learned of the death of Roy Bonisteel. Mr. Bonisteel was one of Inter Pares’ first “celebrity” spokespeople, a role he carried out with conviction and commitment. He supported our international social justice work in the ‘80s and into the ‘90s and lent his name to initiatives that addressed women’s rights, economic justice, and democracy. His endorsement lead us to a whole new cadre of incredibly supportive donors, many of whom are still with us. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Roy Bonisteel was a true friend of Inter Pares and left a profound legacy of peace, justice and equality. Our thoughts are with his family. May he rest in peace.
