The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Wolfe can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Brian and I are heart-broken by the loss of my dear cousin George. He was a personable, fun-loving man who loved life and enjoyed it through his many social & family activities; golf, dancing, music, singing and most of all his devoted partnership with his wife Edna. The Wolfes were my Godparents and I had a special place in my heart for George. He had a special way with children and I am told that many a night he lulled me to sleep as a baby in Leaside, where we all lived after they emigrated to Canada with my parents. I have so many wonderful childhood and grown-up memories of our families - family dinners - Painted Post Drive - many many parties - picnics at the Rouge - summer vacations at Cleveland's House and much more. We very close and spent a lot of time together. George will be missed by many - he was a special guy and we loved him xoxo
