BUNKIS, Janis – Entered into rest at the Belleville General Hospital on Thursday, May 3rd, 2018. Janis Bunkis of Trenton, in his 92nd year. Son of the late Stanislavs and Helena Bunkis. Loving husband of Jadviga Bunkis. Dear father of Juris Bunkis (Tina) of California, Imants Bunkis, and Inara Jackson (Doug); both of Trenton. Proud grandfather of Justin (Christie), Jessica (Brendan), Janis, Arija, Dainis, Stefans (Natalie), Nikolas, Erika and great-grandchildren Kinley and Ilze. Brother of Mara, and predeceased siblings Vitolds, and Tedis. Resting at the RUSHNELL FUNERAL CENTRE (613-392-2111), 60 Division Street, Trenton, on Monday from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Rosary Prayers at 6:45 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at Saint Peter's Roman Catholic Church, on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Rite of Comittal Prayers to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
